JAGADGURŪTTAM SHRĪ KRIPĀLU MAHĀPRABHU JI
(A brief introduction written by Didi Gopeshwari)
"Āchāryam mām vijānīyān, Nāvamanyeta karhichit, Na martya-budhyāsūyeta, sarva-deva-mayoguruh"
-Shreemad Bhāgwat Mahāpuran (V. 11.17.27)
The supreme God Shri Krishna Himself says to Uddhav- "Know the God realized Guru to be me.
Never harbour any resentment or ill feelings towards His Divinity, thinking Him to be an ordinary human being. for all the forms of God dwell within Him."
"Yasya Sākshādbhagavati, Gyāndīpaprade Gurau, Martyāsaddhīh Shrutam Tasya, Sarvam Kuñjarashauchavat"
- Bhagwatam (V. 7.15.26)
Divine Guru is directly the Supreme Godhead personality who enkindles the light of wisdom. One who applies the material intellect thinking the Guru to be an ordinary human being and harbours such an unfavourable attitude, for such a person all the Vedic studies and knowledge are like the bathing of an elephant.

According to these Bhagwatam verses and other Vedic evidence, there is no distinction between God and a God realized Saint. The supreme God Himself descends on Earth from time to time as a repository of spiritual force. The Divine current of this spiritual force changes its course as the need arises, just as a mighty stream of water opens up a new channel.
Thus, any sort of introduction to such a Divine Saint is equivalent to introducing God, which is absolutely insane and futile, since the Divine is beyond human comprehension.
Though it is impossible to give inner-spiritual introduction of my Guruvar, yet in order to quench the thirst of many yearning hearts and also to purify my own mind, in my small capacity that I can, I shall try to sing the Divine glory of my Guru which is related to His Divine physical aspect.
Jagadgurū Shrī Kripālu Mahāprabhu Jī appeared on this earth at midnight of Sharat Pūrnimā in the year 1922, as the son of the most honourable Brahman Shrī Lalitā Prasād Tripāthī and Shrīmatī Bhagwatī Dévi, a resident of the village Mangarh 60 miles away from the holy river, Sangam Trīvéni in India. Sharat Pūrnima is the most auspicious full moon night for the devotees of Rāganugha Bhakti, because it was on this full moon night, 5000 years ago, that the supreme Godhead personality Shri Radha Krishn had revealed the glory of exclusive, unselfish Divine love to the world by performing the Divine Mahārās and showering the supreme Divine bliss to the highest class of unselfish rasik saints, the Braj Gopi's. Shri Maharaji spent his childhood in Mangarh, showering joy and love to all alike through His mischievous acts. Following the worldly tradition, He too, like other ordinary children, first went to a nearby school and then to Indore and Chitrakoot for further studies. However, to the utter amazement of his teachers and classmates everywhere, He used to finish the entire course in one year, which generally would be difficult to finish even in 12 years by other students. What was more surprising was that He was never seen studying or fully attending the classes. He would disappear into some dense forests for months and reappear during exam times scoring 100% marks, but the teacher would give Him 99/100, so everybody would call Him Mr. 99. Thus, completing His education in a couple of years, which did not however, include the study of scriptures, Shri Maharaji disappeared into dense forests at the tender age of 16. He used to remain in an unconscious state of Bhāv for days or even months and, when returning to consciousness, He'd find out that He'd been detected by people He used to again disappear into some dense forest. First He lived in the forest of Chitrākoot near Sharabhang Āshram, and then in Vrindāvan near Vanshīvat and so forth. This continued for about two years. Then, compelled by the continuous pleading of some earnest seekers, who were drawn to Him by His irresistible Divine personality imbued in Mahābhāv (highest Divine love ecstasy), Shri Maharaji accepted to come out of the forests and grace them with His association. Wherever He went and stayed He graced the deserving souls transporting them to the highest state of ecstatic joy through His Divine chantings. Such was the unique, magnetic, charm of His Divine voice and personality that people used to listen to Him continuously for hours, sitting like statues. Thus, began the first phase of His Grace in the world.
Supremely Divine Jagadguruttam Shri Kripalu Mahaprabhu Ji's tall, majestic and charismatic personality had a captivating "Aura"
that could inspire devotion in anyone who came close to Him. Everyone, irrespective of gender, nationality, caste, creed, race, economic or social status, came flying to His Divine lotus feet like a moth attracted to flame. The Divine emanating from His Divinity, made everyone feel the affection of a beloved teacher, friend, parent- all in one.
Those who came in Divine association of Shri Maharaji were astonished to see how approachable, generous and down to earth He was. It made each one of us feel that we always belonged to him -true to His name "Kripalu", embodiment of unselfish, infinite grace and Divine love.
Shri Maharaj Ji has trained many boys and girls in the philosophy of the Vedic scriptures. They are scattered all over the globe, spreading the message of Raganugha Bhakti. I, myself am extremely blessed to be one of His chosen preachers. Whatever knowledge I have is an outright Grace of my spiritual master.
This is a very brief introduction of my Kripālu Gurūvar a more thorough introduction of Shrī Mahāraji along with a note to all souls can be found at Jagadgurū Kripālu Parishat.
-An insignificant speck of Divine foot dust.
